Responsibilities

The Acquisitions Vice President plays a leadership role in the Acquisitions department and partners with internal resources in order to support transaction progress through binding approval. This is inclusive of due diligence input and organization, fit definition, valuation parameters, internal approval processes, integration planning inputs, and strategic fit analysis etc.

The Acquisitions Vice President is also responsible for overseeing and supporting the creation and analysis of business and financial cases for Acquisitions activity and the creation of integration plans. The Acquisitions Vice President will be responsible for the management of Acquisitions projects through various stages of the transaction and will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer of the company.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Required qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. Minimum 5+ years of experience in hospital mergers and acquisitions.
  3. Hospital Acquisition experience with a for-profit provider.
  4. Proficiency in computer operations including word processing
  5. Demonstrates community commitment
  6. Ability to lead at all levels of management
  7. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  8. Must obtain Sexual Harassment Certification within 6 months, and then maintain biennially.
