Responsible for the overall administrative development and implementation of services offered by the Home Care Agency. Plans, develops, and establishes policies and objectives of business organization in accordance with Board directives and corporation requirements, ensuring that appropriate policies and programs are implemented. Plans business objectives and develops organizational policies to coordinate functions and operations between departments and establishes responsibilities and procedures for obtaining objectives. Reviews activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revises objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions. Directs and coordinates formulation of financial programs to provide funding for new or continuing operations to maximize reimbursement, and to increase productivity. Plans and develops public relation policies designed to improve Company’s image and relations with patients, employees, holding company, and the public. Evaluates performance of Administrative staff for compliance with established policies and objectives. Serves as a member of the Governing Body. Executive ex-officio officer. Communicates with staff, physicians and administration both written and verbally.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current driver’s license required.
2. Minimum of five (5) years Home Care Manager experience required.
3. Previous demonstrated leadership capability and management experience required.
4. Knowledge of Medicare and CHAP regulations for Home Care.
5. Excellent interpersonal relationship skills with exceptional professional work ethics.
6. High School Diploma or GED, along with two years related experience and/or training. Experience in home care or knowledge of the health care industry preferred.
