Southern Regional Medical Center is a non-profit, 331-bed community hospital serving the residents of Clayton County and Southern Atlanta communities. The hospital offers a complete line of services including Senior Care and Senior Behavioral Health Services; Emergency Services; Heart and Vascular; Advanced Imaging; Laboratory; Neuroscience Services; Rehabilitation; Sleep Diagnostic Center; Surgery/Robotic Surgery; Wound Care; and Women's Health Services, including a Level III NICU. The hospital is accredited as a Chest Pain Center and Primary Stroke Center.

Responsibilities

The Financial Analyst manages financial and statistical reporting for the organization to comply with statutory requirements and in support of senior management’s goals and objectives.  Ensures timely and accurate financial statements, financial information and related activities and also ensures consistency in calculation methodology. Maintains alliance for decision support database including cost accounting module.  Completes the monthly accounts receivable valuation.

 

This position completes and analyzes financial and statistical reporting and provide quantitative and analytical support. This position assists with the preparation of the consolidated financial statements and related footnote disclosures; ensures timely and accurate financial information, covenant reporting, financial projection and budgeting, and related activities.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience in business/management.
  2. Three to five (3-5) years hospital/healthcare accounting/finance/management experience.
  3. Proficient in business software applications.
  4. Working knowledge of Windows based personal computers. 
  5. Bonus included.
