Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.  Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.  Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies.  Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff.  Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

  1. Previous experience or training in a Cardiovascular Lab; required.
  2. Cardiovascular technician training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring,

     preferred. 

  1. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
  2. Certified Cardiovascular Technician; CCPT (invasive emphasis), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

     (RCIS), CCPT (invasive emphasis), preferred.

  1. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required.

Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options.  Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary.  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $66,560.00 to $98,280.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure. Additionally, employees in this position may be eligible to participate in the Company’s annual discretionary bonus program. Paradise Valley Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $32.00 to $43.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
