Responsibilities

Responsible for providing direct care services including individual, family, and group counseling, support, and other activities; completes comprehensive assessment, development of treatment and discharge plan of care; maintains all clinical documentation; participation in and facilitation of all family and/or collateral meetings, interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, case conferences or other meetings as required to ensure continuity of care. Provides supervision to Clinicians, students/interns and other direct care staff as assigned. Completes all required utilization review tasks as assigned. For Outpatient and Residential services/programs transportation to client residence and/or transportation of clients may be required.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
 
1. Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in counseling, psychology, social work, or other health-related field required.
2. NJ licensure required: LPC, LSW, LCSW, PhD, PsyD, LMFT, LCADC* (*must also have LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW or LMFT for any non-substance use program).
3. 3 years mental health experience with population to be served is preferred.
4. Credentials/certification on hire or to be completed within 6 months of hire required.
a. SIFI/ACS/CCS to provide intern supervision.
5. Valid NJ Driver’s License for Outpatient and Residential Programs.
