Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), assists during procedures under his/her scope of practice. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Functions as the first line interface in the accomplishment of the imaging needs of the physician for each procedure. Is well versed and has the responsibility of identifying and maintaining patient safety in x-ray principles, radiation exposure, and safety as they relate to cardiovascular procedures, cine angiography, and fluoroscopy. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac, peripheral, and all Cath Lab procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Desert Valley Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $36.50. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
