Dallas Regional Medical Center is a 202-bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission that offers a wide range of medical services including 24/7 emergency care, cardiology, wound care, surgical services, cardiac catheterization, and imaging. The hospital is the only Certified Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center, and Labor and Delivery Unit in the area. Responsibilities

The CSO Manager supports the Dallas Market Float Pool and is responsible for managing the full-time administrative team members as well as ensuring staffing needs are met and service levels are exceeded by handling all staffing questions, concerns, day-to-day staffing operations of the Dallas Market hospitals. The position will require periodic traveling to both hospitals within the Dallas Market. This position will report to the Director of Nursing at Dallas Regional Medical Center. The CSO Manager is responsible for managing staffing needs for the inpatient units and the outpatient procedural areas. He/she will coordinate staffing based on the inpatient unit census and the outpatient procedural scheduled case volumes. The CSO Manager will assign staff to cover vacation and sick time with the approval of the respective Director/Manager. Skilled in ANSOS, word, excel and PowerPoint and performs minor secretarial and clerical duties with self initiative; assumes coordination of projects for the CNO as delegated and appropriate. The CSO Manager will monitor registry/contract labor time frames alerting the unit Directors/managers when nearing the end dates for consideration of termination or extension. The CSO Manager will reconcile all agency invoices in a timely manner.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
 
1. ANSOS or scheduling software knowledge and skills preferred
2. Preferred experience in a healthcare or staffing environment
3. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point skills preferred
4. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
