Work closely with Accountable Care Organization (ACO) REACH Manager and under the direction of leadership, the Enrollment Specialist/Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support within area of responsibility that may include support, organizational skills, distributing correspondence, data analyses, and reporting. All within established legal guidelines and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
The Enrollment Specialist is responsible for coordinating all activities related to the enrollment of beneficiaries into Medicare/ACO REACH programs. Assist with the eligibility, intake, and enrollment process of new patients, and thoroughly discusses the patient's rights prior to enrollment into: Medicare, or other state or local funded programs. Responsible for ensuring the provision of accurate and appropriate screenings/intake of prospective beneficiaries, providing information and referrals to patients and their families. The Enrollment Specialist will need to have full understanding of the various health plans preferably offered in Missouri and Kansas service area, including medical, dental, senior, and care management programs/services. The Specialist must work as part of a team, concentrating on the delivery of high-quality services to all our beneficiaries.
Required:
1. High School Diploma or GED Certificate
2. Minimum of 1 years of experience in Tele sales, patient navigator, intake/enrollment or customer service experience in the healthcare industry is required.
3. 1-3 years of experience (administrative and program coordination)
Preferred:
1. Over 2-3 years of experience within healthcare industry
2. Certified Enrollment Counselor (CEC); Complete the CEC training and certification within 6 months of employment.
3. Bilingual: Spanish/English required.
4. Over 3-5 years of experience within healthcare industry (administrative and program coordination)
