Ability to function in a demanding environment by navigating multiple projects simultaneously, and effectively supporting a busy Medical Staff Office. Responsible for assigned Medical Staff Departments as assigned by Director/Manager. Facilitates all aspects of credentialing, including applications, reappointments, proctoring and competencies. Interfaces with physicians and hospital management staff in a positive and professional manner.


Education and Work Experience

  1. Previous experience in credentialing position required.
  2. 2 years prior experience in computer operations, data analysis, data tracking and database management preferred.
  3. Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintains and communicates status of work progress, and anticipates work production scheduling requirements.
  4. Ability to communicate effectively in written, oral and graphic forms preferred.
  5. Demonstrated ability to consistently complete assignments with no supervision preferred.
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  7. Willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule as needed preferred.
  8. Two-year Associate degree OR equivalent in work experience with broad base knowledge in computer applications preferred.
  9. Bachelors Degree in Health Care Administration or health related field preferred.
