Responsibilities

Conduct HIV Counseling, Testing, and Referral in a confidential manner consistent with mission statement of Saint Michael’s Medical Center and the State of New Jersey – Department of Health and Senior Services – Division of HIV and AIDS Services. Provide HIV education. This position requires an efficient individual who can express sensitivity to all clients expressing a desire to have an HIV test. The individual must also have a working knowledge of Community resources to refer clients to organizations that will assist them in their daily living requirements.
 

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

1. Current New Jersey State HIV Counselor Certificate
2. Good Verbal and interpersonal skills
3. BA degree or 3-5 years’ experience in a related health care field
