Responsibilities

This position requires a person who is well organized and demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail. This person is responsible for the supervision of all business office functions and the monitoring of the financial goals of the center. The business office manager must also enforce policies of the Center and is responsible for all financial data.

 

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• The daily operation of the facility.
• Serving, along with any committee appointed for the purpose, as a liaison between the Governing Board, the Medical Staff and all departments of the facility.
• Reporting the pertinent activities concerning the facility to the Governing Board at regular intervals.
• Planning for the services provided by the facility and the operation of the facility.
• Overall management of the Partnership as outlined in the Operating or Limited Partnership Agreement as applicable.
• Lead discussion/presentation during Monthly Operations Review call with Prime Healthcare Corporate Team.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1. Must be a high school graduate. A bachelor’s degree preferred. Must have three to five years supervisory experience in a medical setting such as a hospital, physician’s office, or surgery center. Experience working with physicians is desirable. Must have knowledge of medical terminology. Prefer experience in accounts payable and receivable. Minimum three years’ experience in Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) operations management.
2. Good command of the English language, both verbal and written, and strong interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients and others.
4. Demonstrates proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates.
5. Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
6. Must have an acute attention to detail.
7. Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.

Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options.  Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary.  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $66,560.00 to $96,408.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
