Responsibilities

Is the immediate supervisor of the shift that he or she is assigned to and assists the EMS Coordinator and Manager with the day-to-day operations of the EMS Department. This includes, but is not limited to, vehicle upkeep, communications equipment and EMS equipment maintenance, and supply stock. Provides care to patients ranging from neonatal through geriatric.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  1. Current and valid New Jersey Department of Health Paramedic/Nurse Certification.
  2. Current and valid Healthcare Provider ? BLS CPR card.
  3. Current and valid AHA ACLS card.
  4. Current and valid AHA PALS card.
  5. Valid Driver's License.
  6. CEVO certification ? must obtain within 3 months of hire and renew in 3 year period.
  7. Five years of experience as a Paramedic preferred.
  8. Good driving record
