Responsibilities

  • Manager of Radiology provides leadership, supervision and coordinates department activities, ensuring safety to both patients and staff
  • Directs all human resource functions of the department with include; overseeing training and ensures staff competencies, ensures safe staffing levels. Coordinates, Develops budgets with the direction of Director of Radiology
  • Meets organizational and patient safety goals and ensures regulatory compliance
  • Manager of Radiology ensures ongoing monitoring of departmental indicators and PI activities, reports activities as directed
  • Manager of Radiology responds to the needs of the department by performing radiology technician duties when needed

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:
 
1. Associates Degree, Graduate of an AMA accredited program in radiologic technology.
2. Bachelors Degree preferred.
3. Specialized training in CT or MRI Preferred.
4. Supervisory experience in all medical imaging functions.
5. Previous experience as a radiology technologist/Nuclear Medicine/Other modalities.
6. Strong verbal and written skills.
7. Current state licensed CRT & Fluoroscopy permit by CDPH and ARRT-R.
8. Current Basic Life Support /BCLS (AHA) certification
9. Comprehensive Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards required.
