Responsibilities

Develops and administers comprehensive intensive outpatient substance use disorder treatment programs that responds to the community’s needs and supports the organization’s overall mission, philosophy, and goals to integrate the direction of outpatient programs into the hospital’s continuum of care; provides leadership, direction and clinical supervision in accordance with the organizational and departmental goals and objectives.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1) Must have a minimum of a master’s degree in Human Services, Counseling or another helping field
2) Must have a current and valid license as a LCADC, LPC, LCSW or the equivalent, issued by the State.
3) Must have a minimum of three (3) years directing outpatient substance abuse treatment programs.
4) Must have a BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
5) Behavioral Violence Prevention within 6 months of hire and maintain current annually.
6) Must have working knowledge of N.J.A.C. Rules and SUD treatment regulations and practice standards.
7) Must have knowledge of the continuum of care for substance use disorder treatment.
8) Must have excellent verbal, written and leadership skills.
