Responsibilities

A Telemetry Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing direct patient care in a telemetry unit, including monitoring and recording vital signs, assisting with procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. The CNA will also collaborate with nursing staff and medical professionals to ensure appropriate care for patients with cardiac or other medical conditions requiring telemetry monitoring. Additionally, the CNA will document patient information accurately and communicate effectively with the healthcare team. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

 

1. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.

2. Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.

3. Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.

4. Minimum six months’ previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
