Providence Medical Center Rehabilitation Department is looking for a dynamic per diem Physical Therapist to be a part of our growing Rehab Team!

Responsibilities

Providence Medical Center Rehabilitation Department is looking for a dynamic per diem Physical Therapist to be a part of our growing Rehab Team.  We need a Physical to work in the acute care hospital setting.  As one of our Physical Therapists I, you will:

  • provide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services, within scope of practice, in order to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and/or integumentary disorders
  • perform responsibilities in accordance with department and hospital policies, state, federal and regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements
  • function according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team
  • be responsible for inpatient therapies only
  • have availability on weekdays and weekends: the weekend commitment is one weekend per month and the weekend hours are on Saturday and Sunday are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • outpatient hours are available as well for a candidate who has experience working in this setting

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate/Certificate Degree in Physical Therapy
  • current state Physical Therapy license, or application to KS licensure in progress
  • current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
  • one year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting, preferred
