Responsibilities

The Surgical Technologist is responsible for the preparation of sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure, maintaining sterile field during case and providing surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during assigned procedures.

 

  • This position does not require being on-call or working weekends!
  • Sign-on Bonus for experience Surgical Tech.
  • This position is FT 4/9hour shifts

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.     Graduate of an Sugical Technology training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years’ experience (surgical setting preferred).

2.     Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in various surgical specialties (i.e. General, Ortho, Urology and GYN).

3.     Current BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.

4.     Must be proficient in the following specialties: General, Gyn, Urology, Vascular, ENT/Plastics

5.     Must be proficient in three of the following specialties or coordinating a specialty: Major Vascular and Orthopedics
6.     Proficient is defined as the associate can perform cases in that specialty independently.
