Responsibilities

This program was implemented to help Nursing Students and Newly graduated Registered Nurses awaiting boards to learn critical skills that will be helpful in the transition from School to Real world Experience.   This program provides the Student/ New Grad Registered Nurse the following Opportunities:

 

  • A 10-to-12-week orientation with a Preceptor and Nurse Educator that guides the nurse through important skills of their desired Unit.
  • They get the chance to hon in on the critical skills any Registered Nurse needs to be successful

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  1. Successfully completed the first semester of a nursing program.
  2. Must be in good and academic standing.
  3. Current Basic Life Support Certification.
  4. Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
