Assist in preparation of various government cost reports and support their audits.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Required qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of equivalent experience in Reimbursement.
2. 2 or more years Revenue Cycle, Finance/Accounting experience or Government Reimbursement experience with hospital system.
3. Experience reviewing Medicare deductibles, coinsurance, and cost sharing.
4. Strong analytical skills and ability to prepare financial statements and models.
5. Experience working with financial and patient account data.
6. Proficiency in Windows Office software and ERP systems (i.e., EPIC, Meditech)
7. Superb Excel skills (v-lookups, sum if, sum product, indirect, etc.)
Preferred qualifications:
1. Two or more (2+) years of revenue cycle and or cost report analytical experience with hospital systems.
2. Experience reviewing and documenting policies around deductibles and coinsurance.
3. Strong communication skills to explain the Medicare bad debt log processes.
4. Experience working with external vendors and related data for monitoring progress.

Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $67,204.80 to $99,777.60 on an annualized basis. The compensation estimate noted above is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
