Roxborough Memorial Hospital is a 131-bed community hospital. Prime Hospital -Located in Philadelphia is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA’s)

• Provide counseling and education to patients regarding surgical and anesthetic options
• Perform thorough anesthetic focused assessment
• Determine safest patient focused plan for anesthesia, analgesia, multi modal pain management, post operative recovery and discharge to home
• Ensure patient understanding and obtain anesthetic specific informed consent
• Order and administer preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative anesthetic medications, including appropriate antiemetics, hemodynamic agents and controlled substances
• Initiate anesthesia by securing the airway (if appropriate), maintain appropriate anesthetic depth, and conduct a controlled emergence and extubation (if appropriate) for given anesthetic
• Complete post operative assessment
• Participate and conduct anesthesia related educational programs

• CRNA’s will have a primary site and be expected to rotate to three local suburban locations
• Conduct anesthetics focusing on general surgical, plastic, urologic, and gynecologic cases
• No neurosurgery, obstetrics, or pediatric surgery
• Collegial environment with MD’s and CRNA’s
• Ability to work independently is required
• CRNA’s take 2nd call with limited call back

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Graduation from accredited nurse anesthesia training program completing requirements for MSN or DNP
• Current certification / recertification as Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
• Valid Pennsylvania RN License.
• Current BLS / ACLS / PALS
• Must possess excellent airway skills and venous and arterial access capabilities or willing to learn with our experts
• Minimum of one-year previous experience however, exceptional new graduates will be considered
