Responsibilities

The Vice President of Wound Care Services oversees all Prime hospital wound care and hyperbaric services to develop and implement wound care policies and practices in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.

 

  • Develops strategic action plans for overall development and implementation of comprehensive wound care programs which includes both inpatient wound care practices and outpatient wound care programs at all Prime Hospital locations.
  • Collaborating with hospital leadership, wound care team and physicians/LIPs regarding changes in current wound care practices based on clinical evidence.
  • Development of standardized policies and practices for all inpatient and outpatient wound care and hyperbaric programs.
  • Cost effective standardization of equipment and supplies. Analyzes performance, productivity, and staffing of outpatient wound care programs.
  • Analyzes financial reports to determine most cost effective and innovative solutions to ensure quality of care.
  • Available to travel to all facilities throughout the enterprise.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  • Master's in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration
  • 3-5 years years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse
  • Ability to manipulate various types of electronic and clinical equipment.
  • Ability to operate specialty equipment related to area of expertise and to perform computer tasks at a users level
  • Wound Care Certification (WOCN) required

Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options.  Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary.  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $151,000.00 to $180,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
