St. Joseph Medical Center (SJMC)is looking for a per diem variable shift Clinical/Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our dietary team.  Our per diem Clinical Dietitian/Registered Dietitian provides appropriate patient nutritional care with duties and responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

• assess the nutritional status of patients
• formulate a care plan, coordinate its implementation, and evaluate its impact and effectiveness
• provide nutrition education to patients/families
• approve supplements, as appropriate, and assist in the development of a hospital formulary appropriate to the patient population
• diet-planning, food safety, nutrition knowledge and patient education

Education and Work Experience

• Registered Dietitian Required (CMS requirement)
• one year healthcare experience, preferred
