The Corporate Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) Analyst - MEDITECH works with management and staff to define problems, devise solutions, perform workflow analysis, quality control and problem and change management. The position analyzes, reports, presents and encourages the use of data to monitor and improve care and for designing related processes and systems. The Corporate LIS Analyst supports advanced quality inquiry leading to investigative analysis, often leading to new relevant information used to improve quality, efficiencies, safety, service and growth. The Corporate LIS Analyst analyzes, develops, programs, tests, implements and maintains the clinical lab systems of the Prime Healthcare MEDITECH hospitals in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of the organization.

Required qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science or related health science field.
2. EMR experience required.
3. Previous Meditech LIS/HIS experience required.
4. Minimum three (3) years clinical laboratory hospital experience.
5. Able to travel across states. Good driving records required.
6. Team player attributes, professional judgment, and presentation as corporate personnel.

Preferred qualifications:

1. Valid state Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) licensure required for those states requiring licensure for clinical lab testing personnel.
2. Medical Technology (MT)/ Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification from ASCP or AMT required for those states that don’t have licensure requirements.
3. Five (5) years clinical laboratory hospital experience.
