- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for acute and chronic illnesses.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to established clinical protocols.
- Handle administrative tasks as needed, including documentation and patient communication.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Per Diem
-- Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Adult- Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP).
- Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or a related field.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work per diem shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
