The Oncology Nurse Navigator is a specialized Registered Nurse who is responsible for guiding patients through the complexities of cancer care. This role involves providing individualized support, education, and coordination during and after cancer treatment, ensuring seamless and integrated care. This position collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring continuity of care by Maintaining Patient records and communication across the care team.
This position is essential for assisting patients in the understanding of their diagnosis, treatment options, and potential side effects. The Nurse Navigator will guide the patient and their loved ones through disease process, treatment plans, symptom management, and all resources that are available for support. This position is so important to ensuring patient care is seamless and requires collaboration in in all aspects of the patient’s cancer treatment.

We are looking for #oncologynurses or #oncologynurse to join our #oncologynursing team. This individual will help #cancer center in regard to patients receiving #chemotherapy treatments and who have recently received a #cancer diagnostic. They will work closely with the #oncology team.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid state RN License.
2. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
3. Minimum of 3 years in related field preferred.
4. Public speaking experience in both large and small groups, preferred.
5. Strong problem-solving, priority-setting, and decision-making skills.
6. Program planning and/or project management experience and evaluation strongly
7. Computer skills required
8. Critical thinking skills required. Must be autonomous and self-driven. Must be able to work well independently and with others.
9. Demonstrated competencies include: Costumer Focus, Problem-Solving, Strategy Development, Performance Reporting and Marketing.
