Responsible for providing direct care services including individual and group counseling, support and other activities; participating in comprehensive assessment, development of treatment and discharge planning; maintaining clinical documentation, participating in and facilitating family and collateral meetings, team meetings and case conferences to ensure continuity of care.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Masters degree from an accredited college or university in counseling or social work.
2. LCADC Candidates without a Masters degree will be considered on a case by case basis.
3. Two years mental health experience. For Adolescent Services; at least one year of work with youth in a mental
4. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC).
5. Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and Licensed Social Workers (LSW) within two years of terminal license and with authorized supervisors will be considered on a case by case basis.
6. Valid NJ Motor Vehicle License
7. Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) within 6 months of hire and maintain current.
8. Bi-lingual speaking preferred.
