Dallas Regional Medical Center is a 202-bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission that offers a wide range of medical services including 24/7 emergency care, cardiology, wound care, surgical services, cardiac catheterization, and imaging. Responsibilities

The Outpatient Therapy Clinics Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and influencing department activities and delivery of admitting and registration services while maintaining continuous quality improvement for the clinics. Effectively interacts with staff, patients, patients’ family, and health team members, while maintaining standards of professional service. The Outpatient Therapy Clinics Manager is responsible for daily operations, managing referrals, monthly reports and dashboards. The Outpatient Therapy Clinics Manager will analyze and reconcile financial and vendor reports for the clinics. The Outpatient Therapy Clinics manager is accountable to the Director of Business Development for the day-to-day management of personnel, including staffing, timekeeping, employee evaluations, training, counseling interviewing and selection of staff within established guidelines.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
 
1. High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred
2. Three to five years experience in health care preferred.
3. Strong organizational skills required for effective communication with patients, physical therapists, public, staff, and administrations.
4. Preferred Skills and Abilities: Must be able to demonstrate understanding of and ability to interpret and analyze financial and accounting reports.
5. Knowledge of, Medicare, Medical, HMO/PPO, Commercial and W/C insurance verifications, preferred.
6. Must be able to work in fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
7. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
8. Effective written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
9. Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines.
10. Analytical and problem-solving skills
11. Customer Services experience required.
12. Working knowledge of computer systems, equipment and processes commonly performed within the Outpatient Therapy Clinics area.
13. Knowledge of equipment and machines used in the Outpatient Therapy Clinics
