Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med/Surg Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical unit, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or physician.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
  • Assist with patient assessments and care planning.
  • Perform wound care, dressing changes, and other nursing procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Participate in continuous education and professional development activities.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1. Current and valid state license
2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. IV certification upon hire (state specific)
