Under the general direction of department leadership, will monitor patients' exercise ability and adjust daily exercise sessions to meet physical and psychosocial aspect of care. Ensures all maintenance of exercise equipment and inventory. Monitors par level of supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Masters Degree or currently enrolled in a Masters Program in a field related to Exercise Science or equivalent with skills and experience in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, preferred.
2. 6 months of recent and relevant experience, preferred.
3. Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) upon hire and maintain current.
4. Dysrhythmia Course completion within 30 days of hire.
5. ACLS preferred.
