Ensures safe and effective delivery of radiotherapy procedures by performing accurate radiation treatment plans for patients. Collaborates in the daily activities of the department to ensure maximum productivity, efficiency, and continuity of service for quality patient care. Functions as a Radiation Therapist as requested.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Good knowledge of basic theory and practice of dosimetry and medical terminology.
2. Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification preferred.
3. Certification by the American Association of Medical Dosimetrist upon hire.
4. State license required.
