The Transporter transports patients to and from the Department. Other duties include but are not limited to; ordering supplies, stocking, dressing patients and front office duties. Other duties include, but are not limited to, filing patient reports, retrieving patient records for physicians or medical records. The Transporter should demonstrate good telephone etiquette and be able to greet patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner. Provides clerical support by utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) and by running errands throughout the facility.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Must have BLS upon hire and maintain current throughout employment.
2. Transportation experience preferred.
3. High School diploma or Equivalent, required.
