Responsibilities

This position is responsible and accountable for the overall performance, financial success, accessibility, and optimization of Bayview Hospital operations. The role involves managing operations, optimizing patient flow between the hospital and Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), and directing day-to-day operations. Additionally, the position takes on special projects as assigned. Working closely with the CEO, this role ensures the efficient operations of both CSU and inpatient services, manages growth, and works with key leaders in the Community. This leadership position will drive improvements in operational performance while modeling behaviors that align with our mission, vision, and values, and promoting consistent adherence to these values across all aspects of Bayview Hospital’s services.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business management or accounting required. .
2. Minimum of 5 years previous healthcare management experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Experience managing behavioral health services
4. Preferred Skills and Abilities: Must be able to demonstrate understanding of and ability to interpret third party payer principles. Strong organizational skills required for effective communication with patients, physicians, public, staff and administrations. Must be able to work in fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
5. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
6. Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office software experience.
7. Demonstrates personal traits of a high level of integrity, team building, professionalism and trustworthiness.
8. Places a high value on ethical standards and treating of others with dignity and respect.
9. Demonstrates collaborative relationships and works with a variety of professional internal and external individuals and groups.

 

Paradise Valley Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options.  Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary.  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $79,289.60 to $113,776.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
