The St. Joseph Medical Center (SJMC) Pharmacy Department is looking for a dynamic Pharmacist to join our team. This is a per diem, variable shift position, works under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, and helps with our inpatient and outpatient needs.  This Pharmacist duties include, but are not limited to:

• visit with patients to obtain medication lists
• coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety
• the scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services

Education and Work Experience

• current state Registered Pharmacist License
• experience in hospital pharmacy operations, preferred
• BS Degree in Pharmacy, required; Doctor of Pharmacy, preferred
• BLS certification required within 6 months of hire and must be maintained
