We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist (PRN), internally referred to as our Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) at Saint John Hospital a member of Prime Healthcare. The Respiratory Therapist can be referred to as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP II) but someone who carries out respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as directed by the medical and cardiopulmonary directors, based on physician orders. They focus on assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting care while considering the specific needs of patients based on age and population; in the absence of a supervisor, they may be designated as the Lead RCP, overseeing the department during their shift. This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PRN.
