Under general supervision of the Clinic office manager, coordinates the personnel and the daily operations of the clinic facility. Orients and trains new staff, tracks and reports operational activity. Should be able to understand and follow instructions on department policies and procedures. Assists with medical staff meeting preparations. Assist the physician and director of clinics in meeting the day-to-day needs of the Medical Staff Office. Key working relationships are Medical Staff, Hospital Management, department staff, patients, visitors and vendors.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Associate Degree in medical office management or related field desired.
2. Registered or certified medical assistant preferred.
3. Equivalent level of knowledge and experience required.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
5. Third party reimbursement knowledge preferred.
6. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
7. Customer service oriented.
