Job Summary:
Southern Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Provider to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient-centered care to a diverse patient population. Proficiency in Spanish is preferred to better serve our Spanish-speaking community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including preventative care, chronic disease management, and acute care.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and continuous care.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventative care strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to evidence-based clinical guidelines.
• Foster a culturally sensitive environment to meet the needs of a diverse patient population, with a focus on Spanish-speaking individuals when applicable.
Skills and Competencies:
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse patient populations.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
• Culturally competent care delivery with sensitivity to the needs of Spanish-speaking patients.
• Education: MD, DO,from an accredited program.
• Licensure/Certification:
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related specialty.
• Active medical license in the state of [State].
• DEA license and BLS certification required.
• Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in primary care or outpatient settings is desirable.
