Responsibilities

The Epic Team Lead will be primarily responsible for the initiation, planning, execution, performance, control, maintenance, and ongoing support of a group of individuals focused on an application, project, or initiative in the information technology department. This individual will need to work with other leaders to identify creative solutions and shape the way the department conducts business.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  1. Three (3) or more years of applicable work experience required.
  2. Minimum two (2) years of experience working with Epic?s electronic medical record required.
  3. Experience managing multiple large scale, complex project at one time.
  4. Strong computer skills including Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Project.
  5. Experience leading large teams of individuals and effectively managing staff.
  6. Strong and appropriate communication and organizational skills.
  7. Professional etiquette.
  8. Exceptional and successful at working with a diverse group of individuals and a variety of personality types.
  9. Must obtain any assigned certifications without needing to retake any test or project more than 3 times within 2 weeks of completing last certification course.
  10. Traveling up to 75% of the time.
  11. Provide on call support to our facilities.
  12. Occasionally support organization at night and on weekends

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  2. Minimum four (4) years of experience with an integrated healthcare information system preferred.
  3. Minimum four (4) years of experience in project management preferred.
  4. Knowledge of healthcare industry and hospital operations preferred.

Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options.  Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary.  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $114,420.80 to $154,460.80 on an annualized basis. The compensation estimate noted above is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
