Dallas Regional Medical Centeris a 202-bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission that offers a wide range of medical services including 24/7 emergency care, cardiology, wound care, surgical services, cardiac catheterization, and imaging.
The hospital is the only Certified Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center, and Labor and Delivery Unit in the area. Education and Work Experience
1.High School Diploma or Equivalent required
2. Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current required
3. Basic typing skills, computer literacy, and experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
4. 3 years clinical healthcare related experience
5. Ability to multitask with prioritizing and meeting deadlines
6. Trauma data base training, preferred.
7. Data entry skills, knowledge of basic anatomy ICD-9-CM/ICD-10-CM coding, E-codes, and Injury Severity Scoring preferred.
8. An understanding of quality assurance and process improvement preferred.
9. Experience with data analysis and report writing desired.
10. Successful passing of Certification Examination for Trauma Registrars –CSTR (Certified Specialist in Trauma Registers) preferred.
