Saint John Hospital (SJH) is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) in a Full Time Mid-Shift role!!!
We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT), also referred to as our Respiratory Care Practitioner I (RCP I) at St. John Hospital (SJH) a member of Prime Healthcare in Leavenworth, KS. The Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) is someone who carries out respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as directed by the medical and cardiopulmonary directors, based on physician orders. The RT focus on assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting care while considering the specific needs of patients based on age and population, in the absence of a supervisor. This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PRN.
Shift’s Available: Mid-Shift
Employment Type: Full Time (Some Weekends)
Hours: 9:00am - 9:00pm (No Call)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
during times of low census there will be other, non-respiratory related tasks assigned (i.e. sitter/cover for lunch for a sitter, pass/pick up food trays, assist with walking patients with physical therapy (especially if on O2), potentially take vitals (when really slow), etc.)
