Responsibilities

The following statements are intended to describe the major elements and requirements of the position and should not be taken as an all inclusive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required of an individual assigned to this job.  As an important member of the Imaging Services Team, the Radiology PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) Coordinator role is to perform all related activities for supporting the hospital PACS/ RIS system. Participates in QI/QC activities.

 

Schedule: Full Time, Monday through Friday 8a-4:30p, weekend hours/on call only if an issue arises

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.      A minimum of 1 year clerical experience or receptionist experience.

2.      1 year experience in Hospital Information Services (HIS)/Radiology Information System (RIS) and Vascular Radiology Information Systems (VRIS) preferred.

3.      Knowledge of terminology of Radiology tests preferred.

4.      Supervisory experience preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $72,924.80 to $105,622.40 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
