The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, and meets the communication needs of the patient and family; Performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Demonstrates knowledge of EMTALA Regulations and triage process in the ER setting.
New Graudate LPN:
Requirements:
Candidates must be completing their final semester of an accredited LPN program within six months
Candidate’s  must have a valid Illinois LPN license verified by the IDFPR website
Must possess a BLS CPR card through American Heart Association
Work Shift Details:
New Graduate LPNs are hired into full-time 12-hr shifts 5a-5p / 5p - 5a
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. IV certification upon hire; Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification preferred.
