Overview

River Valley Physicians is seeking Advanced Practice Providers to provide primary care services for patients in the outpatient clinic setting and manage administrative duties in relation to new 340B program.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

 

General Job Duties Include:

  • Mix of outpatient primary care and administrative duties relating to 340B Prescription Program
  • Mushave knowedge about 340B Progam and regulations
  • Ability to build and foster relationships with patients, families, and clinical departments
  • Practice primary care in fast-paced outpatient clinic
  • Be prepared to see up to 25 patients per day
  • Administrative duties managing prescriptions for 340B clinic
  • Monday-Friday clinic hours
  • 8am-5pm

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1. MSN with specialization as an ARNP

2. Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse

3. BLS upon hire and maintain current

4. One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.

5. Previous experience with electronic health record.
