Mobile Clinic Healthcare Technician (EMT, Paramedic, or Medical Assistant)
Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of organization.
Position will be casual 10-15 hours per week to assist with the People's Clinic for Better Health's Medicaid Mobile Clinic.
Must be willing to travel throughout St. Clair County.
Prefer candidate with certification and at least 1 year of experience as an EMT, Paramedic or Medical Assistant.
The People’s Clinic for Better Health is a mission-driven nonprofit clinic providing medical care to underserved residents of St. Clair County and surrounding areas, aged 18 years and older. Our services are offered:

• To clients of St. Clair County Community Mental Health with physical healthcare needs

Our services include non-emergency chronic illness management, wellness checkups, laboratory and radiology testing, pharmacist consultations, patient assistance programs, benefits counseling, ACA/Healthy Michigan enrollment, and connections to specialty care. We also offer patients access to on-site transportation, pharmacy services via Genoa Pharmacy, and dental care through Port Huron Dental Center.
