Responsibilities

St. Joseph Medical Center is looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing rehab team in a per diem day shift role.  If you want to work in a friendly team-oriented environment and have some or all of the required experience, let’s connect!  We have a collaborative culture focused on positive outcomes, opportunities for professional growth and so much more. 

 

Shift’s Available:  Days: 7:00a - 3:30p

Employment Type: PRN

As our new Occupational Therapist (OT), you will:

  • provide prescribed consultative and therapeutic services in order to restore function and prevent disability for clients or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary disorders
  • function according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team
  • therapy for occupations, performance patterns, performance skills, environment and context

  • perform responsibilities in accordance with department and hospital policies, state, federal and regulatory requirements: Title 22 Section 70517, 70519
  • our need is for one Saturday per month, holiday rotation, weekdays as needed or available

 

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • current state Occupational Therapy certification/license.
  • current BLS (AHA) certificate
  • National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy certification, AOTA and OTAC, preferred
