Overview

St. Joseph Medical Center (SJMC) is looking for a per diem, day shift Occupational Therapist (OT) to be a part of our growing Rehab Team. 

 

Shift’s Available:  days

Employment Type: per diem/PRN

Hours: 8 hour

Location: St. Joseph Medical Center, Kansas City, MO

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

  • provide prescribed consultative and therapeutic services in order to restore function and prevent disability for clients or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary disorders
  • function according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team
  • therapy for occupations, performance patterns, performance skills, environment and context

  • perform responsibilities in accordance with department and hospital policies, state, federal and regulatory requirements: Title 22 Section 70517, 70519\
  • shift hours: 7:00a - 3:30 pm - 1 Saturday per month and holiday rotation, weekdays as needed and available

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

 

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:  

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • current state Occupational Therapy certification/license
  • BLS (AHA) certificate and maintain current

 

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus: 

  • National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy certification, AOTA and OTAC preferred.
