Overview

We are seeking a ER Stroke/Chest Pain - Coordinator. Chest Pain Center Coordinator / Stroke Center Coordinator is responsible and accountable directly to the Quality Director.

 

Employment Type: Full Time

Shifts Available: Days

Hours: 8-hour

Location: Dallas Regional Medical Center - Mesquite, TX

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

 

  • Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and coordinating the Key Elements of the Chest Pain Center Accreditation/Stroke Certification process, including development and review of protocols, initial and ongoing training, performance improvement and community outreach.

Qualifications

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have: 

  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • A minimum of three (3) years experience in an acute care hospital environment
  • Excellent clinical, interpersonal and communication skills essential.
  • Team approach to patient care.
  • Working knowledge of computers and computer applications.
  • Day and evening flexibility required.

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus

  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred
