Shasta Regional Medical Center in Redding, CA, a member of the esteemed Prime Healthcare system, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Director/Clinical Physician to join our team. This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the delivery of high-quality medical care within our community.
Position Summary
The Medical Director/Clinical Physician is responsible for the coordination and oversight of all medical care and quality of services provided at the clinic. This position will serve as a member of the Medical Management Staff and will collaborate with the Leadership team, to ensure consistent quality of care to patients of the clinic by quality goals. The Medical Director/Clinical Physician will also provide delivery of medical services to their own panel of patients of the clinic in a primary care environment as well as being a part of the GME and teaching of residents.
The salary of the Medical Director/Clinical Physician may differ depending on experience and qualifications, but benefits may include a Salary Package of $350,000 to $400,000 annually, CME, health insurance, 401K and malpractice insurance coverage.
1. 3-5 years work experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
2. Graduate of a University/Program with a Doctorate Degree of Medicine or Osteopathic– MD or DO
3. Current California Medical License – MD or DO
4. Unrestricted Current DEA Registration
5. Current California Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance Certificate of Registration
6. Current medical staff member at Shasta Regional Medical Center or meets all credentialing
requirements in order to obtain privileges
7. 2 years Medical Director experience preferred

Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $290,000-$350,000. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
