Position Overview:
Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is actively seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our growing team in the western suburbs of Chicago. This is a full-time, hospital-employed position offering an outstanding work-life balance, excellent support, and a highly competitive compensation package.
You will provide services across two hospital locations — St. Joseph Medical Center (Joliet, IL) and Mercy Medical Center (Aurora, IL) — and rotate through three outpatient practice sites located in Aurora, Joliet, and Romeoville.
• Specialty: Gastroenterology (General)
• Practice Sites: Aurora, Joliet, and Romeoville, IL
• Hospital Coverage: St. Joseph Medical Center (Joliet) & Mercy Medical Center (Aurora)
• Call Schedule: 1:3 shared call rotation at both hospitals
• Endoscopy services available onsite
• Strong referral base and established patient panels
Compensation & Benefits:
• Base Salary Range: $550,000 to $630,000s, based on experience

Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $550,000.00 to $630,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
