Responsibilities

The Project Manager for Revenue Cycle Analytics will assist the Director of Special Projects in supervising, managing and directing on-going revenue cycle projects for the organization. Will provide day to day coordination of projects for revenue cycle analytics, shall ensure that all aspects of these projects are completed on a timely manner. Ensures coordination between team members, adheres to timelines, and delivers quality end products. This position will supervise 1-2 financial analysts.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING


Required qualifications:

 

1. Bachelor's degree in medical or clinical or related science.
2. Masters in Healthcare or related field
3. Minimum Five (5) years of experience with an integrated healthcare information system. Experience with revenue cycle analytics.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Excellent critical thinking skills.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective partnering relationships with clinical staff, revenue cycle personnel and management at facilities.
7. Supervisor skills.

 

Preferred qualifications:


1. Masters in Healthcare or related field
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent critical thinking skills.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective partnering relationships with clinical staff, revenue cycle personnel and management at facility, corporate, and remote entities.
4. Experience in insurance payment methodologies, insurance denials and appeals protocols.
5. Ability to work independently in a time-oriented environment.
6. Computer literacy and familiarity with the operation of basic office equipment.
7. Assertive personality traits to facilitate ongoing physician communication.
8. Working knowledge of government and non-governmental payor reimbursement methodologies and coding practices preferred.
9. Possess the ability to work with minimum supervision, the ability to function in a stressful environment, the ability to encourage and assist with team building, excellent writing and verbal skills, and the ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information, both patient and employee.
10. Must obtain Sexual Harassment Certification within 6 months, and then maintain biennially
