Responsibilities

The Senior IT Manager will be responsible for leading the IT Change Management initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring the effective management of technology changes with minimal disruption to business operations. This position will have a deep understanding of ITIL based change management processes, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of driving IT and organizational transformation. This position requires little or no supervision as they build, maintain the system and exercise independent judgement and discretion in carrying out day-to-day support related activities. This position performs complex design and analysis tasks related to the hospital business operations. This position also requires strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for the end-users.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Five (5)+ years of IT experience, with at least 2–3 years in IT change or service management roles.
  3. ITIL v3 or v4 certification required; PROSCI or equivalent change management certification a plus.
  4. Experience in a large-scale enterprise or highly regulated environment preferred.
  5. Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  6. Deep knowledge of ITIL and enterprise IT service management frameworks (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy).
  7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  8. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  9. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Project Management Certification (PMP)
  2. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  3. Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  4. ServiceNow Certified is a plus.

Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options.  Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary.  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $87,360.00 to $156,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
